EL-Skyport Software 3.0

The third release of the EL-Skyport 3.0 software includes exciting features for photographers who are optimising their digital workflow by using MAC™ or WIN™ operating systems. The modern, digital studio management software operates wirelessly Style RX 300 / 600 / 1200 compact flashes, Ranger RX, Speed and Speed AS battery pack, Digital RX 1200 / 2400 power packs. The latest NEWS is, that even the Quadra (Ranger RX Quadra AS) battery unit with the built-in EL-Skyport RX Receiver, can be operated and programmed in all functions. Additional the software offer the Firmware wireless update option for the Ranger RX Quadra AS version.

The EL-Skyport Software 3.0 and USB Drivers for MAC™ or WIN™ operating system are available as a free download at our SUPPORT section. Please find below the hardware you require to remote and control your RX flash units.

What you need to make it work:

• Elinchrom "RX" compacts, mains power packs (Digital RX) or battery power packs (Ranger RX, Ranger RX Speed, Ranger RX Speed AS) or the latest Quadra "RX" version, with built-in EL-Skyport Receiver.
• EL-Skyport Transceiver RX module for each RX unit, except the Quadra RX.
• EL Skyport USB RX SPEED for the computer
• EL Skyport Software 3.0 for MAC™ or WIN™ operating systems and of course a computer.

The program shows all RX unit settings:

• Flash power setting in 1/10 f-stop or in individually settable steps. Modeling lamp setting in 1/10 f-stop, proportional, free and off

• Photocell on/off, Ready charge beep on/off, Flashhead socket selection A/B (only active with Digital RX and battery power packs), Standby

Additional Features:

• NEW: Eye-Cell pre-flash management, only for Quadra RX
• NEW: Automatic Language Detection; actually English and German are available, other languages will be prepared.
• NEW: Wireless Firmware update option for Quadra RX
• NEW: EL-Skyport Sync Mode NORMAL and SPEED setup for Quadra RX
• NEW: Virtual Studio Mode; all settings can be stored with a sample image. The data files can be exchanged between users for training or information.
• EL-Skyport GROUP and Channel Frequency setup, for all RX units.
• Automatic RX unit detection and addressing. As soon as the RX unit is switched on and connected with the EL-Skyport Transceiver, the software searches for RX units.
• Flash counter; the software reads out online RX flash unit information. This data is stored in the RX Micro controller and is not resettable. This is useful information for “Rental, Service and Second-User.”
• Individual settable Flash-Delay for strobing effects.
• Store function for studio lighting setups including reflector, accessory and unit settings. By recalling the settings, the RX unit automatically applies stored parameters.
• Individual setting of “Preferences”.
