The Ranger RX Quadra AS is a compact portable 400 Ws battery flash system for studio and outdoor use. A perfect battery flash system for anybody who like un-plugged (not connected to the mains) photography. The RQ System offers "Action Freezing" flashduration with fast flash recycling time and also un-plugged (wireless) trigger and remote options with the EL-Skyport Transmitter or with MAC™ or WIN™ computer. 

 

 

NOTE: The new features are only available for the new Ranger "RX" Quadra AS version, from Serial No. 4001 onwards.

NEW BRIGHT LED's

The new LED display offer an improved visibility at ambient light and when used outdoors.

 

NEW "RX" COMPUTER REMOTE SYSTEM

The new QUADRA "RX" version offers the Computer Remote option with MAC™ and WIN™ computers. All basic controls and the advanced extra features can be individually programed and modified with the latest EL-Skyport Software 3.0 with included USB Drivers (Available as  a free BETA version download). To make it work, the optional EL-Skyport USB RX SPEED module is required. 

 

NEW WIRELESS FIRMWARE UPDATE OPTION

To retain the performance and quality of the software controlled Quadra "RX", future Firmware updates can be made wirelessly with the EL-Skyport software 3.0 and the USB RX SPEED module.

 

NEW PROGRAMABLE FEATURE SETUP PER COMPUTER OR DIRECT

All settings and individual programable advanced features setup can be modified and controlled directly on the Quadra display, or with the computer. This requires the EL-Skyport 3.0 software and the optional USB RX module.

 

NEW NORMAL- AND SPEED-SYNC MODE

The latest EL-Skyport Transmitter SPEED offers the "SPEED SYNC" mode for digital SLR cameras up to 1/250 s. SLR cameras with large chip system did not allow faster sync speeds than a 1/160 s, the latest EL-Skyport Transmitter Speed offer the "SPEED Sync" mode settings, which have been already available for all Quadra EL-Skyport "built-in" Receiver modules.

 

NEW EL-SKYPORT RX RECEIVER (built -in)
Radio remote control of POWER SETTINGS, LED on/off and FLASH TRIGGER, requires the EL-Skyport Transmitter, which is included in the Quadra Case Sets.
