The Car Battery Charger can charge Ranger RX and Quadra RX batteries from the car cigarette lighter.
A very useful accessory for our battery units, whilst driving to the next outdoor location, the Ranger RX or Quadra batteries can be recharged. Just note, if you recharge the battery without driving the car... just leave enough energy to start the car... :)
The Car Battery Charger is compatible with any 12 V car battery and fits to Ranger RX, Ranger RX Speed, Ranger RX Speed AS, Ranger Quadra AS and the Ranger Quadra AS RX.

The EL- Boom Arm with rubberised handgrip extends head / hair lights up to 156 cm. This is a comfortable way, to hold up lighting gear over the subject. The profiled extension tube avoids heads, reflectors spinning around, even when used with a softbox. The two sections of the EL-Boom Arm can be quickly adjusted with the clip-locks.

The new compact, aluminium lightweight tripod is designed for small heads, e.g. the Quadra heads. With only 1.19 kg and 52 cm folded size, this stand is ultra transportable.
The EL-Tripod Set includes one carrying bag with shoulder strap and two tripods. The perfect add on for our Quadra Sets. The EL-Tripod 52 - 190 cm is also available as a single item.

Much faster than expected... our R&D Team was able to release a BETA version of the third generation of the EL-Skyport 3.0 software. If you are a "RX" user, load the latest release of the Studio Management Software and try many new features... The software includes already the latest USB drivers and installs them automatically in one go. The opening window includes a feedback button, where you can leave us a message report if you find unexpected behavior of the software.
This software release is compatible with Style RX 300 / 600 / 1200, Digital RX 1200 / 2400, Ranger RX / Speed / Speed AS and the latest brand new Ranger RX Quadra AS, read below.. To make it work, the EL-Skyport USB RX computer module is required.

Marco Grob
Born Switzerland, Marco started his career as a photographer’s assistant in Los Angeles, USA. After his return to Switzerland, he opened his first studio and worked as a still life photographer. In 2003, he decided to change his career towards portrait and fashion photography. Since then, he has photographed celebrities such as president Obama, George Clooney, Leonardo Dicaprio, Jeff Bridges, Colin Firth, Sandra Bullock, Buzz Aldrin, Hillary Clinton, David Lynch, Sir Elton John, Uma Thurman, Pink, just to name a few. He worked for magazines like Time, New York Magazine, Vogue, Gq, Vanity Fair, Marie Claire, Elle, Cosmopolitan and das Zeit Magazin. His advertising clients are the Walt Disney Studios, Warner Brothers, Tag Heuer, Adidas, BBC, Nike, ARD and Louis Vuitton. Marco’s work earned him numerous awards, topped with the prestigious Hasselblad master in 2007. He lives in New York and works around the world.

Rotalux Speedrings
We found that several international “Webstores” offer not original Elinchrom Rotalux spare Speedrings for our softbox system with the Elinchrom code number. These are not original Elinchrom spare parts and have not been certified by Elinchrom. They may even damage the Rotalux softbox or may not fit at all.
How to identify the ELINCHROM Rotalux-Speedring:
The Elinchrom brand name is moulded on the Speedring.
The total weight is about 263 g only.
The rod supports are moveable to fold a mounted Rotalux for transportation.
Our Speedrings offer a 360° rotating system with locking knob.

Ranger Quadra is an ultra light portable 400 ws flash system for multiple on-location or studio use.
The RQ power pack offers the integrated EL-Skyport trigger and remote system for wireless operation and in addition many individually programmable features such as the RED-Eye pre-flash management system.
The RQ Flashhead is a small light source with an integrated superefficient LED Pilolight and the omega plug-in flash tube combined with the integral reflector offers an even light distribution, which can be modified with reflectors, umbrellas and soft-lights.
